Our Reflux Moonshine Column will escalate the strength of your moonshine. Your alcohol can be increased in a just a single run because it returns more water to your pot. This will result in a lot higher proof in your finished product.
When the temperature of the condenser is controlled your moonshine still is capable of creating a higher boiling for certain components. These particular materials are travel to the flask, and the more light weight materials are sent to a secondary condenser. This is the proper procedure for making very high quality alcohol.
If you are wanting to make vodka, absinthe, or gin, you can do this by running the process more than one time. Some people will also filter with charcoal to get the desired result.
Average results can result in a a fifty percent increase in production over using a regular style worm condenser. When a reflux column is added it allows for gas to expand and cool and reflux.
This is a 4″ reflux column with deflegamator coil in the head. It has 1 sight glass and 4 perforated plates with downcomer’s and a 4″ stainless ferrule.
